Our Fantastic Wine and Cheese Experience
We have partnered with some of Monterey County's finest wineries to bring you a fantastic Wine and Cheese Experience. We invite you to join us on select Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons to meet with a representative of the wineries who will pour their wines and provide information exclusively for you, our guests. To allow enough time for tasting of the wines, we will extend our Wine and Cheese hour from 4-6 p.m. * On select Wednesday afternoons, we are featuring the wines of Manzoni Estate Vineyards. The lush Manzoni Estate Vineyard creates manzoni wines and is located on five-and-a-half acres in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Here, amidst the beauty of central California’s Salinas Valley, they produce a premium brand of manzoni wines founded on their family name.
* On select Thursday afternoons, we are featuring the wines of San Saba Vineyards. San Saba has been making award-winning wines in very limited quantities since 1981. Nestled up against the Santa Lucia Highlands, just outside Monterey, California, the 70 acre vineyard is planted in chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, merlot, and cabernet sauvignon.
* On select Friday afternoons, we will be featuring the wines of Chateau Sinnet. Located in the beautiful Carmel Valley in Monterey County, Chateau Sinnet offers a variety of wines and champagnes, including a wonderful Grand Cuvee California Champagne which we feature at the Inn!
* On select Saturday afternoons, we will be featuring the wines of Pessagno Winery. Pessagno Winery fulfills a twenty-year dream of winemaker Stephen Pessagno to produce limited quantities of exclusive luxury wines from prestigious single vineyards throughout Monterey and San Benito Counties.

Exciting Changes at the Seven Gables Inn
* We now provide a complimentary high speed wireless internet connection for your computer in all of our Guest Rooms and common areas! * In all of our guest rooms, we have completed a major upgrade of the bed linens. You will find absolutely beautiful 100% cotton, white pattern on white Duvet Covers and Pillow Cases from the Lotus Collection by Pan Im-Ex Pacific Inc. Inside each duvet cover is a goose down comforter manufactured by Pacific Coast Feather Company. We have placed a choice of down or fiberfill pillows on each bed for added comfort. These beautiful Duvet Covers are complimented by high thread count, 100% cotton sheets. Very luxurious and comfortable! * We have upgraded our bath amenities to H20 Plus Spa amenities featuring sea-inspired nutrients These wonderfully scented shampoos, conditioners and lotions are complimented by a wonderful line of handmade bar soaps produced exclusively for the Seven Gables Inn by Yosemite Soap Works. Other Changes We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of some exciting changes beginning November 1, 2006 We are consolidating the Grand View Inn under the name of Seven Gables Inn. The Grand View Main House will now be called the Beach House. Close proximity of the properties makes this a logical decision to ensure better guest service. The Seven Gables Main House will become the front desk and only lobby area for both Inns allowing for centralized guest services including check-ins, concierge services and check-outs. Our wine and cheese hour for all our guests will be presented in the Main House of the Seven Gables Inn. Our breakfast for all our guests will be served in the ocean front, main dining room of the Beach House (formerly the Grand View Inn).

Special Seasonal Room Rates
The Fall and Winter months in Pacific Grove can be quite pleasant. Fortunately, our weather is quite temperate during these months, generally with highs in the mid 50's and lows in the 40's. When storms do roll through the area, the Seven Gables Inn is a wonderful spot to experience the sound and feel of large waves crashing along the coastline. It is quite a show! We are pleased to offer special mid-week rates during the Fall and Winter seasons. Special rates are subject to the following conditions:

For our guests who have stayed with us at either inn for a minimum of three separate stays since 1998, we are pleased to offer a special discount off our regular rates on your fourth stay. Our Special Returning Guest Value Room Rate is: 20% discount Sunday through Thursday nights. These Special Value Room Rates are subject to availability and are subject to change without notice. Special Value Rooms Rates may not be offered during certain holiday periods or special events. This special rate cannot be combined with any other discounts. Once this fourth stay discount has been applied, our guests must stay an additional minimum of three separate stays in order to receive our returning guest value rate again. Upgrades at the Inns
We are now serving wine and cheese in the afternoons from 5-6p.m. Our chef has come up with some wonderful menu items to go with a nice selection of California wines. For added convenience, we are now accepting American Express in addition to Visa and Mastercard. For added comfort, several of our rooms at the Seven Gables now have California King beds. In our Guest House, these are the Cypress Room, the Ocean Mist Room, the Victoria Room, the Mayfair Room. In the Main House, these are the Breakers Room and the Fairmount Room. Both the Jewell Cottage and the Seaview Cottage have Cal. King beds in the main bedrooms. Also, the Carriage House now has a Cal King bed. Finally, the Rocky Shores Room in our Beach House now has a Cal. King bed. We have just released the second edition of our cookbook entitled "Seven Gables and Grand View Inns Favorite Recipes- A Taste of Paradise" Our Chef has added almost 50 of some of our favorite breakfast and tea-time recipes in this beautiful new cookbook. A spiral binding and horizontal layout make this cookbook very practical to use in the kitchen. Beautiful color photographs adorn the cover and inserts of this book. This makes a wonderful addition to any chef's collection as well as a welcomed gift for someone special. We have slightly changed our phone reservation hours.
